Persona is operated by Persona Game Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 15942405), registered office 11 Granville Road, Watford, WD18 0AH, United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal data described here.

What we collect

We keep data collection to the minimum needed to build your set and run the site:

• Photos you upload, and the people, names and roles you choose from them.
• Account details if you sign in (email and authentication identifiers).
• Order details if you place an order (email, what you ordered).
• Usage and device data: pages viewed, actions taken, approximate location, browser and device type. Collected only after you accept analytics.

How we use it

• To generate, preview and produce your card set.
• To create and secure your account and respond to enquiries.
• To fulfil and support orders.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it, and to measure marketing, only with your consent.

Legal bases (UK GDPR)

• Contract: to provide the service you ask for and fulfil orders.
• Consent: for analytics, advertising cookies and marketing; you can withdraw it at any time.
• Legitimate interests: to keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
• Legal obligation: to keep records we are required to keep.

Photos and faces

Photos can reveal information about identifiable people. We treat them as private personal data. We use them only to build the set you asked for, never to train third-party models, and never sell them. You can ask us to delete your photos and generated cards at any time and we will remove them from active systems promptly.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract:

• Cloud hosting and database providers that store the site and your data.
• Authentication and image-storage providers used to run accounts and store images.
• An image-generation provider used to create the illustrated cards.
• Privacy-friendly analytics (PostHog, EU region) and advertising measurement (Meta), only after you accept analytics cookies.

Cookies and tracking

Essential cookies are needed for the site to work. Analytics and advertising cookies load only after you accept them in the consent banner. You can decline, and you can change your mind by clearing the choice in your browser.

How long we keep it

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above: account and order records for as long as your account is active or as required by law, and uploaded photos and generated cards until you delete your project or ask us to remove them.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and you can object to processing or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email us. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
